Ryan is a director, producer and circus theatre artist with a passion for telling silent stories. He has worked around the world as a juggler, actor and physical comedian and has worked extensively as a writer and director for new work.

He has enjoyed working with many excellent companies, including Wet Picnic, Extraordinary Bodies, and Citrus Arts, and has had the pleasure to learn from inspiring practitioners such as Sean Gandini, Philippe Gaulier, Bim Mason, Rod Laver and Les Bubb.

As the Managing and Artistic Director of Tit for Tat he has created and led projects all around the UK and parts of the EU. His work draws on both theatrical and circus methodology to create dynamic scenes and object-driven narratives.

As a juggler, Ryan enjoys working with bespoke, unusual or everyday objects to create innovative movement, theatrical scenes or chaotic situations. To see more of his work as a performer, have a look around.
